A  nice sample of this rare trilobite species from the upper Cambrian Weeks Fm.

The Genus was established by RESSER in the year 1935,  Weeksinia unispina is the type species.  Charles Doolittle Walcott discriped it first as Asaphiscus? unispinus that  shows that that he was not sure in what genus this new species belongs.
