This slab from Bundenbach showcases a beautiful and detailed fossilized Crinoid of the species Codiacrinus schultzei. The specimen is centrally positioned on the slab, featuring a long and virtually straight stem. The fossilized Crinoid itself measures approximately 177 mm in its maximum measurable length as it appears on the slab. The crown is about 51 mm wide. All in all, a stunning display piece from the Devonian period of the Hunsrück Slate. |
