This is an exquisite specimen of a rare trilobite of the species Acernaspis orestes from the Lower Silurian of Canada. The trilobite is completely prone and about 26 mm long. In addition, the trilobite is presented on a very decorative matrix with a good footprint. The Cephalon was also partially prepared from the underside. |
