This trilobite is a rare and beautiful specimen of Erbenochile erbeni. The species is among the most sought-after spiny trilobites from the Devonian of Morocco. One of its most striking features are the remarkably tall, lighthouse-like eyes. The trilobite itself measures about 30 mm in width. The specimen displays excellent preservation and meticulous preparation. Under UV light, the clean finding cracks as well as a few minor stabilizations of preparation marks become visible. Altogether, it represents an outstanding display piece of an iconic trilobite.
