Here is a fine specimen of the Moroccan trilobite Hollardops mesocristata from Jebel Zguilma. The trilobite shows detailed preservation, with the eye lenses in particular displaying excellent definition and contrast. There are some minor restorations, especially on the left side of the cephalon, where the border and parts of the left eye have been restored. The UV image also reveals small repairs along the glue lines. The trilobite measures approximately 40 mm in width. |
