Products description
Here is a very large fossil beetle that is most certainly the species Pyrochroophana major. The body is close to 37 mm long and the cover wings (elytra) are 25 mm long. It is to mention that systematic research on fossil beetles species of the lithographic limestone still is a subject of scientific controversy.
