Here we have a nice slice of banded iron from the Cleaverville Formation in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, dating back to the Archean-Proterozoic transition.

This is an exceptionally beautiful stromatolite slab from the early Precambrian of the United States.
A particularly striking aspect of this slab is its diverse array of microfossils. Due to the somewhat opaque nature of the specimen, these fossils can be observed even without thin-section preparation.

This plate shows two fossil ravens of the species Pinnixa galliheri in a beautiful condition.
