Products description

On this limestone plate from the cretaceous of the Lebanon are three fossil fish. The largest fish on this plate is a detailed specimen of a predatory fish of the species Eurypholis boissier.  This one measures about 65 mm in length. The typical wide scales, behind the head are clearly visible.  The two smaller fish are probably the species Ginsburgia operta or Sedenhorstia dayi.
