This is a fossil conifer branch of the species Culmitzchia laxifolia from the Lower Permian of France. Culmitzchia laxifolia (formerly often referred to as Lebachia laxifolia) is an extinct conifer species from the Early Permian.
The fossil branch itself is about 37 mm long.
