This slab features a beautifully preserved trilobite trackway of the species Cruziana furcifera from the Ordovician period in Portugal. The traces originate from a temporary outcrop near Penha Garcia. Cruziana furcifera is characteristic of the Armorican Quartzite, with similar finds also known from Spain. |
