Here is a fossil of an isolated dragonfly wing from the late Jurassic of Solnhofen. The fossil dragonfly wing shows a good preservation. The UV picture shows that some of the wing veins are excellent Preserved. Presumably this wing belongs to the genus Cymatophlebia. The fossil itself is approx. 52 mm long.
